Do not buy! Nothing but issues early on, now 1 year in, and the shed has developed great big gaps, only one year warranty. Thick customer service agents. Never again. Mould is a natural occurrence they tell me. Yes it is, but a great big gaping hole will not be helping.

Update: pitiful responses from the customer service team are fruitless efforts to appear helpful. I called earlier and no one was any help!! So don’t pretend on here in front of people that you are remotely interested in trying to rectify.

When our shed arrived both doors were warped but we used turn locks and hoped they would straighten. We contacted Waltons and they told us that because we hadn’t treated our shed immediately our guarantee was void!
We thought the shed was pre treated!
They told us that they would not do anything for us! The doors do not close together. Very poor customer service. Would never recommend this company to anyone. Poor quality shed and not even treated! Very cheap doors. Flimsy!

Extremely poor quality. I ordered a small shed and on arrival the parts of the shed were so chipped and split it made putting it up Extremely difficult. A few months down the line and we are already looking to replace it. The wood is very very thin, cracked, split, sharp - dangerous even! I contacted Waltons several times and have been ignored every single time. Please do not buy anything from Waltons - you'll be wasting money. Absolutely disgusted with the whole situation.

Delivery was botched. No customer service. No logistics. No apology. No refund.

Reading your review is very much the same left out in bad weather customer service is so atrocious it’s beyond belief how another human being can treat another one so badly. They give no concern to anyone take your money and then as far as they are concerned job done. Please don’t leave it money is tight enough as it is without being robbed at least Dick Turpin wore a mask

I see my review is very similar to others on here! Would I buy from Waltons or buy another Mercia product, No. One Star is one too many. I ordered a summerhouse and assembly and was promised delivery would be arranged in conjunction with the assembly team. Not so, delivery arrived unannounced and deposited summerhouse pieces which sat in the rain until assembly team were able to come and assemble (one week later).
Looked ok, but doors had an issue, Mercia offered to replace these. Customer service arranged for delivery of new doors but the fitter convinced us new doors were same as the old doors, so made some adjustments to existing doors instead. Within a couple of days the doors would not open at all. Mercia came again and replaced doors this time, and again 2 days later the doors would not open or close. At this point Mercia have walked away, saying the weatherproof coating I applied (Cuprinol shades – 6 year protection) was not waterproof and this was causing the problems – after 2 days! Applying waterproof protection on top of weatherproof is not effective, so Catch 22.
Since then the doors have quickly bowed, panels moved and it is impossible to shut the doors. Quality of the wood is awful, the roof beams are clearly showing signs of rot (no leaks in roof so obviously this was rotten when fitted). Have asked for a refund and been ignored.
Our landscape Gardner’s are shocked at the poor quality timber and poor customer service from Waltons/Mercia. I am happily adding photos. At the end of the day I have spent £1700 and got nothing, will have to get it removed before too long.

Ordered a basic 8x6 shed. The delivery driver wasn't helpful removing the items, one actively stood there and watched. Two parts were damaged and the driver said he'd inform head office. Complaint passed to head office who have been SO unhelpful, asking me to identify the missing part numbers. The driver took photos of the two damaged parts, and then asked me if i wanted to keep the broken panel and roof spine!!! This isn't my job to start hunting through all of the packaging and identify their mistake. This has caused such an inconvenience, all of my sheds contents is now outside with no solution offered by Waltons. I'll be seeking an immediate refund and will order from a rival company. Avoid this cartel!

I ordered a Juniper log cabin about 2 months ago,which cost me approx £3700.0,me and my wife have been saving hard for this cabin so that we could enjoy a bit of our retirement years in the garden,I am 68 my wife 71.The cabin came,no problems,my son erected it,all very nice until I was looking at the cabins a few weeks later and they had reduced it by £900.0.I was sick to my stomach,I contacted Waltons to see if they could do anything for me as it was only a couple of weeks earlier when I got mine,the answer was as good as saying hard luck,they must have had a really good laugh amongst themselves when I ordered mine at the full price.It has really saddened us because if we had waited that few weeks that extra saving could have got us some furniture for it.I will never use these people again they are dispicable.

Very pleased with my purchase

Received the 8x6 shed this morning so haven’t erected it yet but I am very disappointed in the quality of the wood and it is also very flimsy and will need reenforcing and ply lining and a thicker floor in it to make it secure and fit for purpose! The windows are very thin as well.*edited as have now erected the shed* had to add supporting timber to the roof and floor will also have to ply line the entire building to make it strong enough to be of any use. the shed is listed as 8x 6 it is in fact 4 inches smaller than that all round, it is very short lucky for me so am I but my partner can’t stand in it inside and it is so unbelievable flimsy! I am fortunate that my partner is a carpenter so will be able to make it fit for purpose but with the added expense in materials it would have been far better and cheaper to have bought the materials and built one ourselves only reason I didn’t was due to time issues. I have reduced the rating to 1 star due to the company’s sarcastic comment on this review!!

I’ve just spent the weekend assembling a Waltons Clover summerhouse and can say that providing you’re comfortable with DIY, and understand that you’re getting a kit of parts out of which it is possible to either build a summerhouse or a pile of kindling (whether it looks like the pictures at the end or not depends on your abilities as a builder), and providing you accept that wood will warp, twist and crack, then it’s an excellent kit and well worth the money. It took a day working on my own to lay the base and assemble the panels, and 3 of us 9 hours the next day to build it. There are some inconsistencies and contradictions in the assembly instructions (Waltons, please let me know if you want to talk about these for a future update?) and some are closer to crossword clues than a build manual but overall we are very happy with the product and service we received from Waltons, and with the finished summerhouse. We would definitely recommend it.

I bought the Greenhouse online through Robert Dyas. Demand meant that the delivery was some 10-12 weeks away, but a precise date and time was given. I am pleased to say the delivery was exactly at the time first predicted and it was offloaded conveniently on our driveway. The panel frames were pre assembled and I chose to apply a coat of preservative before assembling. The assembly instructions, labelling and size of the sections was all very good.
I would have to say that the quality of the timber is the cheapest quality pine, ( (but at the price that was to be expected). Assembly was relatively straightforward but did need care and attention to ensure tight joints and squareness. Mastic sealant needs careful application once glazed. The fanlight section came fully assembled but was poorly jointed and lots of knots/holes in the frame. This made it a poor fit and it subsequently leaked. I have had to add additional Perspex panels to cover the fanlight and the ridge above it to keep the rain out. That aside the unit is watertight. I chose to repair the item myself rather that delay trying to get a replacement. Overall the greenhouse is ideal for the space we had available, has been very good value for money and in use now for 12 months.

We have commenced the overall Construction, Instructions, seem straight forward to follow once you understand the universal coding.

Floor panel could perhaps use some form of clip to connect, or as our unit is being placed on a joisted base, a bit more detail re-noggins, etc.

Bracing of panels in construction could be detailed, it works .

Delivery was on time, driver was polite and courteous.
Quality of shed is excellent with clear instructions on how to build. No issue with missing parts.
